About the Trust

A movement for dignity, opportunity and justice.

Mutasa Youth Forum & Community Empowerment Trust exists because too many young Zimbabweans — especially women and persons with disabilities — grow up facing poverty, inequality, gender-based violence, and unemployment. We work at the grassroots to rewrite that story.

Mission

To empower youth and vulnerable communities through advocacy, skills development, and inclusive programs that drive lasting social and economic change.

Vision

A Zimbabwe where every young person — regardless of gender, ability or background — thrives in a just, equal and opportunity-rich society.

Integrity
Accountable action, transparent with every partner and beneficiary.
Inclusion
Centering women, youth and persons with disabilities in every program.
Solidarity
Standing alongside communities — not speaking over them.
Sustainability
Building skills, systems and livelihoods that outlast us.
What We Do

Six programs. One mission: dignity for all.

Every initiative is co-designed with the communities we serve — rooted in local realities, amplified by global best practice.

Why it matters

For the first time, my daughter who uses a wheelchair has a seat at the table. Mutasa Youth Forum didn't just include her — they listened.
